  • Adelaide's street circuit, based in the city's eastern parklands, is 3.78kms. in length.
  • Australia's two Formula One World Champions - Sir Jack Brabham (1959,1960,1966) and Alan Jones (1980) have sections of the Adelaide circuit named in their honour.
  • The length of the Brabham Straight is 925m.
  • The length of the Jones Straight is 360m.
  • Speeds of up to 300kph have been achieved along the Brabham Straight.
  • The 1994 Adelaide Grand Prix was Nigel Mansell's (Williams) first victory in eight visits; the 31st of his career, in his 185th F1 race.
